The align tools are used to arrange objects so they are parallel to each other. Select the objects you would like to align and choose to align them by Left, Horizontal Centre, Right, Top, Vertical Centre or Bottom alignment to put them in a parallel line. When choosing to align objects along the left edge, all objects will have their left edge on the same vertical line.

By selecting Relative to stage the objects will be aligned relative to the scene instead of to each other.
