Introduction

A shape is an object formed as a circle, triangle, rectangle or polygon. You add a new shape-object to a scene by clicking on the corresponding shape icon.

Just as with every other object, shapes can use effects.

Settings

All shapes have some common properties:

• Fill
  The fill colour and the opacity of the fill can be changed. It is possible to de-activate the fill by clicking the toggle button. There are two different types of fill: solid and gradient.
• Border
  The border of a shape is inactive from the start and can be activated by clicking the toggle button. You can change the colour and the width of the border.

It is also possible to adjust the number of edges of a polygon and the corner radius of a rectangle, where a higher value results in rounder corners.
